Dr. Dixon and his staff are always there for us and our pets. Our cat Buddy needed another shot for his allergies and they took us in right away. So glad they are there.
Dr. Dixon and his staff were very helpful when we brought our cat Buddy in to help us figure out why he was getting itchy bumps on his face and back. Dr. Dixon gave Buddy a shot and told us he had allergies. The shot has helped him stop itching and his bumps are clearing up. He and his staff were great. We had a 4:30 appointment and were taken in right away. Thank you all.
We have been using this clinic for over 20 years. When we vacationed here in the past we would board our dog with them, and take him out for beach walks. Our dog was always comfortable with them. Now that we live on the island we use this veterinarian for our Labrador. We have experienced nothing but love and kindness.
My dog went in for a nail trimming. She does not like to be touched on her feet and is quite difficult to manage. We were told last time that she could be put under anesthesia but that was not the case when we took her. She came back with a swollen and red eye along with scratched on the back of her leg not nails but leg as though they tried to hit her or hold her down with unnecessary force. This is malpractice and an incredible lack of professionalism as I called back to see why my dog was and currently is still in this condition. I was yelled at through the phone with unjustifiable and irrational excuses. I do not know where this doctor received his license because in all honesty this is cruelty. We treat our dog as a part of the family and she was treated as less here.
I have been taking my pets to Dr. Kirk Dixon for 19 years now. He is always sensitive to my concerns and gives me the information I need to make an informed decision regarding my pet's care. He has referred me elsewhere when needed and has performed successful sarcoma surgery on one of my cats. Highly recommend this clinic.
