Many Organic options available at reasonable prices along with easy labeling so you can get in and out healthy and quickly. Recently renovated and now has a Starbucks, pizza bar, salad bar and several other great additions. After all the renovations I wish they would have put in a double door entrance.

I have shopped at Harris Teeter for many years. The staff is always courteous, helpful, and friendly. The selection of foods is generally good and well cared for. The recent remodel is attractive with the single exception that the space devoted to fresh fruit and veggies is cramped. Too bad, since the selection and quality of same are excellent. I live "off island", but shall continue to rely on Harris Teeter for my main food shopping.
Harris Teeter is a fantastic, smaller-sized store that my family and I have been frequenting since we moved here over a decade ago. Although sometimes the store seems to be a little understaffed--or perhaps overwhelmed by customers--at checkout, the crew members are always happy that you're there. The parking lot is usually able to accommodate the customers, but there is always parking next to Main Street Cafe if it gets extremely busy. Harris Teeter recently revamped the interior of the store, with a more modern look, a Starbucks, and a pizzeria ($8 pizzas on Mondays) with fantastic margherita pizza and other flavors. If you're looking for a store that can meet all your shopping needs, but don't want to be overwhelmed by the "big store, many choices" feeling, Harris Teeter is what you want.
Harris Teeter recently went through a much needed renovation. Before they made the renovations I was not a fan of this store at all. However now it is my number one grocery store on the North End of the island conveniently located in Main Street. I am so glad they now have a Starbucks inside the store. This is a new edition that is quite welcome. They also have a lounge area where you can plug in a laptop, enjoy your coffee, have a bite to eat, or have a meeting. The management is quite helpful and the staff does a solid job. The wine selection is extensive and so is the beer selection. They have great pizza, a new Deli area, baked goods area, a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, including organic varieties, a wonderful meat selection, a seafood area, a health food section, and everything else that you would need at a grocery store. It is also usually a breeze to get in and out of. I took several photos that I hope help you get a great idea of what this Harris Teeter is like. If you're if you are looking for bargains I would suggest getting the Vic card. They do have a salad bar, a soup bar, and prepared foods if you are in a hurry.
