My son had an accident at school and we suspected he broke a finger but I could not get an appointment with our pediatrician and I did not want to sit in the ER. The staff at Main Steet Medical was compassionate and knowledgeable. We were seen quickly and they were able do his xray right then. They even helped us get an appointment with an orthopaedic specialist and called the next day to follow up! Overall it was a great experience!
For years Main Street Medical was my go to place for illness after hours or on weekends. On many occasions they corrected the 9-5 doctor's bad medicine or diagnosis. It didn't occur to me that they could be my primary care physicians until I vented my frustration with my primary care physicians years later and learned Main Street Medical could be my primary.
Time and Time again, Main Street Medical is my go-to for both urgent care or day to day needs. Casey, Tracy, Becky and of course Drs. Johnson & Torres are AWESOME. I leave my visits with a complete understanding of my appointment and the knowledge that I've been in very competent, caring and compassionate hands.
Bow I know why there is no wait. Staff was rude including the doctor. We arrived at 1:20 when the web site stated they are open until 2:00. Promptly we were informed they are closed. I guess they are open if you do not need anything. Told to visit other facility. My guess is this allows them to leave at 2:00. Congrats on getting out on time and losing customer for life.
My children are I are always shown great compassion by the front office staff, nurses, and doctors. The facility is bright, inviting, and clean. Dr. Johnson tells silly jokes that make us laugh, and the lollipops at the check-out turn frowns upside down.
Once, when I thought my daughter just had a bad fall from a swing, they identified a fracture in her leg; they set it, and we were able to follow-up with a local pediatric orthopedic doctor when we returned home from vacation. The Northern Virginia orthopedic doctor said that the doctors at Main Street had done a great job.
We go to Hilton Head regularly and with three small children, we always end up in the Urgent Care for ear infections, skin infections, treatment after bad scrapes and x-rays after bad bumps. They have treated all of us over the years, and we are thankful for this reliable, competent, caring medical practice. They have even followed-up with phone calls after visits to check on us and make sure that any health issues were abating.
