There are no restrooms or water fountains after security, so if you’re thirsty you need coins (as cc don’t work, and bills rarely work)
Second time in one month that a flight has been cancelled "due to weather." Last time, it was an afternoon thunder shower that passed near the island, but not a drop hit the ground and the wind was moderate. Now, they've cancelled a flight a day in advance because of a passing tropical storm that will be in the mid Atlantic waters by the time the flight is departing. I understand (nearly 20 years as a commercial sea captain) that safety comes before all other concerns, but by the time the last flight they cancelled was supposed to leave it was a beautiful sunny day and tomorrow morning when this flight is due to depart...I would bet my summer wages that it'll be a beautiful sunny day. Someone should check into the protocols of this airport for they are, at times, unnecessarily cancelling flight and ultimately losing money.
This was the worst flying experience of my life. Once we got on the flight we were about an hour in when they needed to turn around the plane to fly back and I couldn't be rebooked until the next day at four. This caused me to miss an awards show as well as an important appointment. Thanks a lot.
Great airport family that I visit lives 10 minutes from the airport so pretty fast getting there to and from the airport you can even hear the planes from there house to friendly staff and tsa be flying again in December for Christmas can't wait
I’m surprised it’s legal not to have water available after security, as sometimes these prop planes can be delayed for hours
This little airport has the friendliest TSA agents I've ever dealt with. An awesome experience.
